First of all, you have Kendall Grove and Jorge Rivera fighting two different guys. Some of the opponents you have these guys facing haven't even fought yet, and they have upcoming fights that will make all the difference.

And do you REALLY think that Mark Bocek is going to get cut? That's good stuff right there. He one a round against Danzig and definitely held his own in that fight. And let's remember that he also beat Doug Evans in his debut. He wasn't supposed to win against Danzig, but he almost did. That was an exciting fight, and we have Bocek to thank in part for that. He did his job, which was to give Danzig a fight.

And you have the UFC keeping Kalib Starnes. Do you REALLY think they are going to keep a guy who got in his cardio work against Quarry by backpedaling for 15 minutes?

I'm assuming that you didn't watch the fights...

I have Rivera and Grove "fighting" two different fights because they are botth possible opponents, this arent official fights, so is anybodys guess who they fight next. and both are possible oppoents.

and about Bocek, well like you said lets remember, Evans wasnt his UFC debut ....didnt he loose against Edgar before that???? and the guy he beat is out of the UFC already, yea he put up a tough fight against danzing, but he doesnt have an exciting style, and the UFC has stated that they just have too many fighter under contract, and they been cutting by the dozens and with guys like Jake O'brien getting cut, i think they'll cut him. and about starnes, its a toss up, him having beat Leben, and having had an exciting match with belcher, i think they'll give starnes a chance to redeem himself, or feed him to an up an comer.

that's funny the person who posted this said gsp vs serra rematch, dont think so. serra would have to beat a top guy to even get close now which wont happen.

Serra and hughes are going to fight and gsp is going to fight fitch and the alves is going to fight the winner of that.

LOL at the guy who said Mac should fight Cole Miller... I hope your not serious.

Mac Danzig vs a top 10 lightweight... i don't care who.

Danzig is a beast and will be a top 10 lightweight by year end.

Franklin vs Bisping would be a good fight

Franklin vs Hendo would be the end of Franklin's career

GSP vs Serra rematch??? Serra will be lucky to ever earn another title shot again.....

Otherwise Franklin vs Bisping would be cool but too early for Bisping, I mean he only beat Charles McCarthy. How about Maia vs Bisping?

GSP will fight Fitch next, the fight is probably already been offered and signed.

i think danzig is a stud and i hope he does fight a top lightweight, but i just don't think the ufc is going to give him a fight like that yet, they want to build him up more. but with lauzon, maynard and diaz getting their shots sooner than expected, you may be right.

great technical match, but both are so good on the ground, the winner might be decided based on positioning, looks no further than lister vs arona, both great grapplers= boring fight

Brad Morris- out of ufc

WTF are you doing? The HW division is so small as it is. How are you gonna cut a guy who just made his debut?
F--K_Luck_AuH2O
4/20/08 10:58:53PM
How is everybody cutting Hironaka? He just got a 75000 bonus for fight of the night. His other losses are Fitch and Alves. You all have no reasoning.
Also McCarthy did a decent job, and does not warrant being kicked out of the UFC because he lost to Bisping. Lutter last two losses come from Silva and Franklin...both in matches he would have won if it were not for gassing...kicking the man out for that makes no damn sense. Starnes, as much of an asswipe as he is, did beat Leben...he'll have to lose one more match before he's dispelled.

The only guy I got leaving is Dorekenson...he never gets his but kicked but always loses...to the WEC he returns...unless Cote wants a rematch.

Jonathan Goulet ( vs. Akihiro Gono)
Kuniyoshi Hironaka (vs. War Machine win or lose)
Cain Velasquez (vs. Heath Heering)
Brad Morris (vs. Eddie Shancez or Atoni Hardonk)
Rich Clementi (vs. Mark Bocek)
Sam Stout (vs. Mac Danzig)
Demian Maia (vs. Dean Lister)
Ed Herman (vs. Jason Day)
Jason Day (vs. Ed Herman)
Alan Belcher (vs. Marvin Eastman)
Jason MacDonald (vs. Kalib Starnes)
Joe Doerksen (to the WEC, unless Cote wants a rematch later down the road to rebuff from a loss...posibly to Almeida)
Mark Bocek (vs. Rich Clemente)
Mac Danzig (vs. Sam Stout)
Charles McCarthy (vs. David Lousiea *rematch*)
Michael Bisping (vs. Chris Leben)
Nate Quarry (vs. winner of Tanner/Grove)
Kalib Starnes (vs. Jason MacDonald)
Travis Lutter (vs. anybody at 205...Machida maybe)
Rich Franklin (vs. ??? its his call. He's dead in the water at 185. Hendo is he's serious about staying in that division, otherwise move up)
Georges St. Pierre (vs. Jon Fitch)
Matt Serra (vs. Matt Hughes)

You guys really think that Fitch earned a shot at GSP with that win over Chris Wilson? Did you watch the fight? The guy came out and almost got beat by a can! Even Fedor doesn't do that. He should know that when you get a can, it's for a reason. And that reason is so you don't get your a** beat down because they are trying to protect their investment.

I'm one of the biggest Jon Fitch fans out there. I just think that Thiago Alves not only deserves a shot more, but he would beat Fitch and would have more of a shot against GSP. But that's just me.
F--K_Luck_AuH2O
4/20/08 11:06:21PM
Dude, Chris Wilson is not a can, he's a top 20 competitor...16 to be infact (according to fightmatrix before the fight) everyone else was taken, he was the best they could give him besides just letting him idle.

He's on a 7 fight win streak, and there is nobody else.
StevieC
4/21/08 7:55:05PM
I think your both funny, Lutter to 205 I am ok with but to fight Machida????!! Machida is a fight or two away from a title shot.....Fighting Lutter wouldn't even be close.

And ofcourse Fitch deserves a shot. 8-0 in the UFC. And he hasn't exactly fought cans. Dana said before the fight that Fitch is the number 1 contender. Alves looked great but that was his first match ever vs a top 10 WW. He needs to fight at least one more.

Georges St. Pierre: Jon Fitch

Matt Serra: should drop down to 155, if not then definitely Matt Hughes.

Rich Franklin: Dan Henderson.

Michael Bisping: Kampmann-Rivera winner.

Travis Lutter: Almeida-Cote loser. Maybe even Ed Herman, with the loser having to leave the UFC.

Nate Quarry: Jason MacDonald.

Mac Danzig: Hermes Franca in Franca's return.

Jason MacDonald: Nate Quarry.

Demian Maia: Almeida-Cote winner.

Jason Day: Eastman-McFedries winner.

Rich Clementi: Kurt Pellegrino... I definitely want to see him fight a grappler next.

Sam Stout: Guillard if he beats Siver... would be an exciting slugfest to watch.

Cain Velasquez: Eddie Sanchez... they should have kept O' Brien to fight him next though.

Goulet: should be fed to the Davis-Swick loser.

Don't care about seeing the others on a UFC card anytime soon.
