Despite having a mystique like no other fighter, being universally considered the #1 fighter ever, and being dominant beyond belief, Fedor Emelianenko has never really been a box office draw despite all the talent and he reamins mysterious behind his fame.
poor guy.....seems like he was just a couple years early of hitting the mma boom right on the nose.......

I don't think Fedor is out.. I think by the end of this year early next year Fedor might be a near household name among MMA fans regardless of which show they perfer...

I agree.. but Fedor is not that old.. He and his trainers claim he is only getting better.... So who knows what is going to happen for Fedor.. if he fighytss enough top guys like he seems about to do.. there will be no doubt Fedor will be #1 but Dana is going to contatly say he is #2 behind nog even though fedor beat him 3 times...

He needs to fight in America and be promoted in America. Since that is all starting to happen it is kind of a new beginning. FSN did a lot for him in America but I find myself often expaining the newer fans that there is a larger talent pool outside of the UFC and Fedor is the king. Beating Sylvia will validate his status to the UFC fans. I usually root for underdogs but I don't ever care to see Fedor lose (unless its to Barnett). He is The Last Emperor.
