Fedor's DAD??

I read in one the other threads that when fedor faught ZULU that he wanted to come out to hurt him because he (Zulu) had beat fedor's dad in a previous fight.. is this true does anyone know if fedor's dad really was a fighter?? anyone got maybe video of him fighting?? if you do post it or if you know anything about him post it to...

His official site doesn't have anything about daddy other than the fact he was a welder.


Feodor Emelyanenko - was born in 1976 in Rubeshnoe Lugansk region. His mother's name is Olga Feodorovna, the teacher. His father's name is Vladimir Alexandrovich the gas-electric welder. He is the second child in the family. He has also got a sister and two brothers. In 1978 their family moved to St. Oskol Belgorod region.


The only connection between Zulu and a father, was in an interview with Zulu after he lost to Fedor. Zulu said that his father told him that even the greatest warriors lose fights. (or something like that).

I doubt the claim of Zulu beating Fedor's dad is true.. most likely just a rumor that got started.

I saw that too. I'm sure the announcer misspoke. Zulu's dad fighting Rickson was the only thing I could think he was talking about, hard to confuse the two tho.

thats exactly what i was thinking, zulus dad was a fighter but ive NEVER heard anything about fedors dad fighting

That's cool. I saw Choke a long time ago. I remembered that it focused mainly on the Vale Tudo Japan 1 show, but had a bio section and stuff too. I forgot that in the old footage they show some of one or both of the Zulu Sr fights. Was it a lot or a little?

I am quite sure his father isn't a fighter... maybe a bar fight?
