If they still let Barnett and Arloski fight, who is Fedor gonna face. I sure hope it is not Tito, that would be horrible. I just don't know who else it could be. Anyone?

I know Tito is a LHW, but Tito has said that he was thinking about moving up for Affliction because there is only one fight for him in the LHW division there. That is if Tito is going to Afflicition, but there is rumors that he is fighting Fedor in January.

doubt it, dont even think tito will sign with affliction. plus most of the lhw guys in affliction would beat tito.

They could get Big Timmy to fight Barnett or Arloski and have fedor fight the other.

hopefully barny but i really dont know...tito is probably not as far fetched as it sounds at first. that is a fight that would probably make a lot of money for affliction, probably considerably more than either a fedor/barny or fedor/arlovski. it would be a real shame if that did happen though and instead of all the intriguing match ups that there are for fedor (specifically the barnett fight imo) we had to watch fedor run through tito in 12 seconds. he may actually beat him so quick that it would be a negative time. tito may die during the stare down for the quickest ko in fight history.

I am well aware of how bad Tito is, and that he will lose. All I am saying is that Barnett's camp is saying that he is going to still be fight Arloski. If that happens, who will fight Fedor.

I think Affliction will scrap the Barnett/AA fight, and go with the original plan of Fedor vs AA. This could set up a Barnett vs Sylvia fight, and then have Barnett fight AA down the road.

Babalu, Whitehead, Noguiera, Vernon White(?), Dewees
You think 3 of these guys beat tito?
I can see the arguement for 2 but most?

It's all about money baby! Tito vs Fedor would bring in A LOT of mula. I for one would be sure to rent it on PPV. As would almost all casual and hardcore mma fans out there. I think with Afflictions money problems, this would be an excellent choice. Throw Tito to the wolves and then have Fedor fight the winner of Barnett/AA (most likely Barnett) for another great ppv show with Tito vs Big Timmy on the same card. That's what I would love to see. Tito on any card is going to draw in PPV buys. Love or hate him, Tito = Money.

People are forgetting what a great card they had last event from an MMA purist's perspective and yet how poorly it did financially. Having great, but unknown, fighters fight each other does not bring in enough casual fans to make a show a success. Affliction, Pride-US, WFA, RINGS, EFC, WCC...this lesson has been learned over and over and over again in the MMA world.
The most watched fights in the history of U.S. TV are Kimbo-Thompson and Shamrock-Ortiz III. The most watched fights in the history of worldwide TV are Sapp-Akebono and Yosshida-Ogawa. That should tell you what sells, and it's not just for MMA. De La Hoya and Tyson were outselling guys like Barrera and Hopkins well past the days when they had similar talent levels.
Out of their current roster, Tito Ortiz is the most marketable fighter--and that includes Fedor. And that's due to his feud with Shamrock, his romance with Jenna Jameson and his stint on The Apprentice--not because he beat Wanderlei Silva and outwrestled Matyushenko. I personally hope that they bring in somebody else, but that fight makes the most financial sense. Size wise it should be fine, too. Ortiz is taller than Fedor and about the same weight.
