How come Fedor's still #1?

Honestly, to still be rated #1 you need to constantly fight and please your own weight class. Fedors last fight was againt Matt Linland and he's a MW. Fedor hasn't faught anybody latly and word is he'll be fighting Pedro Rizzo in January**(could be wrong date) and again not worthy competition for Fedor. Yes, he's only lost once and beat some of the best but tha doesnt mean he shouldn't relax, Randy's not getting any younger and at the moment Randy's the only person left for him to fight.
Anderson Silva should be ranked number #1! Nobody can touch him right now, he's destroyed everything thats stepped in his way. If you don't agree, if he fights Hendo at UFC 81 and beats him, i think its fair to say he is? Until Fedor fights someone of top 10 HW and shows he's still ontop (not doubting Fedor) he shouldnt remain number 1. Anyone agree? lol
Rameau Thierry Sokoudjou will be the number #1 fighter very soon!!!!

He's #1 because he's had the most dominating mma career in any div to date.

he is number one in my book because if he were to fight any other hw he would be a decided favorite...and i hesitate to respond because i dont think i should encourage this thread as there is one exactly like it started every 45 seconds...

He is #1 only in the head of those of live in the past and are ranking fighters acording to there name or years ago victory !!
This is the number 100 thread about that and i will not start a cours of ranking like i did previousely !!
