That whole movie goes under-appreciated, imo. Friggin' great cast. Even Famke Janssen, who's normally just eye candy.

And while glancing at IMDb, I noticed that today is the 88th birthday of Ricardo Gonzalo Pedro Montalbán Merino, aka Kahn Noonian Singh.

"I've done far worse than kill you, Admiral. I've hurt you. And I wish to go on hurting you. I shall leave you as you left me... as you left her... marooned for all eternity in the center of a dead planet... buried alive..."

Those ear-slug things of his still freak me the hell out.
