I love watching Aoki like a lot of you, but my avatar, Clay Guida, is a really fun to watch up and comer. He makes every fight he's in more exciting and it's because of his ground game.

Carlos Newton. I've said it before, Carlos Newton was the first fighter that I watched and saw the beauty of grappling in. I have to pimp Newton/Saku and his armbar. Against Pele and Paulson, two classic examples of armbar mastery.

Also, add Nog, Saku, Sudo, Aoki, and for a big guy, Josh Barnett is really fun to watch on the ground.

Nobody mentioned Jason Miller? That guy is a freak of nature it seems like sometimes. His ability to take punishment always makes me laugh/smile.

Fedor, Hughes, Aoki, I liked watching Caol Uno, too. I think Hermes Franca has some great JJ just because his body is built like a freaking ape with those long ass arms. Rickson Gracie, Anderson Silva (who never gets credit for what he is able to do on the ground) Big Nog, BJ Penn, Nick Diaz, way too many to list. I love the ground game and I absolutely hate it when UFC fans boo the ground game

Matt Hughes, Royce Gracie, and Gary Goodridge. Gary was responsible for one of my favorite old-school sub wins in the "odl" UFC-had the poor sucker trapped in a funky position and pounded his head with unblockable elbow strikes until it was stopped. Royce could break you from any position, and when Hughes gets the back on the ground you know it's just about over as he's going to choke them out.

I must add Carlos Newton to my favourites, he is an amazing grappler. He has suffered from some bad luck though, choking Hughes out and inadvertantly getting KO'd, in a fight that should really have been a no contest, and being allover Daiju Takase in Pride but then some how losing a decision, which I found absolutely baffling.
