"lights out" toney, ive been a fan for a long long time and the guy is entertaining and always a punch away from winning.........needs to stay off the dope though

ha i remember that classic move roy jones pulled with his hands down...toney tried to copy an one could argue that he got knocked down..others say he was off balance...i think it was both..

I would easily say he has one of, if not the biggest hearts in all of combat sports history. You gotta love the guy, seriously. How many times have you seen him with both eyes completely shut, yet still come out of his corner at the bell swinging like it was still the 1st round. The guy is a big hero of mine, and it was sad to see him be retired by a "contender" in Alfonso Gomez, but that's what happens when your career has been in fast-forward from the start I guess.

p.s. Does anyone know what where his 3 "fight of the year" bouts where? Because I always thought at least one of his 3 fights with Ward where among them, but it doesn't appear to be the case... I'm probably wrong though.

p.p.s I heard they're making a movie on the life of Mickey Ward soon.
