In a somewhat vague order...

1. Pantera- Ear-piercing guitars, thundering drums, great vocals. Whats not to like? Single biggest musical influence in my life.

2. Metallica- The band that pretty much got me into hard rock, even though it was their newest album(St. Anger). I eventually learned the heavier side of Metallica, Master of Puppets, Black Album, etc.

3. Megadeth- Not as heavy as other bands, but still great. I'm growing my hair out so I can look just like Dave Mustaine. I'm not close, but hey, everyone needs a dream.

4. Slayer- Slayer is one of those bands that when I hear, I go crazy. When they come on I don't go "Hey! Thats Slayer!" I go, "HOLY F**KIN SH*T ITS SLAYER!" Actually freaked out one of my english teachers by using a Slayer song for a poetry project.

5. Dragonforce- Probably the best air guitar band out there right now. They have a very repetitive sound though, and it sucks that now everyone knows about them. It used to be "Hey have you heard of this band called Dragonforce? They are pretty good." Nows its turned into "Yeah I played their song in Guitar Hero and they roxx!!!!!11!1!!1!"

Then, in no true order...
Disturbed
Iron Maiden
Rush
