Fantasy UFC (New Season starts at UFC 122)

Before each UFC event everyone pick a team of fighters who are fighting on that card. 1 from each weight class. the fighters will qualify for the weight class that they are fighting at that event.

Due to the exciting news of UFC and WEC merging there will be 2 new divisions added to the UFC roster ( FW & BW). I am making a slight change to the rules. There will no longer be an Open Weight choice if a weight class is not represented, instead the number of fighters you can choose will vary depending on the number of weight classes being repesented. For example if there is a HW/LHW/MW/WW and no LW you will choose 4 fighters, but if all of the above weight classes are represented and the 2 new weight classes as well you will choose 7 fighters.

The points will be

3 pts = win
1pt = loss
2 pts = draw/No contest.

After each event we will then do a vote on the fighters on the card:

There will be 4 sections.

KO/TKO of the night

Tapout of the night

Fight of the night

Fighter of the night

The winner in each category will earn an additional 5 pts.

Fighter of the night can be for any reason you see fit for eg:

Pulling off an upset
spectecular performance or finish to the fight
showing a lot of heart in defeat ie Jason Brilz v Lil Nog.

No, and we don't. Play the game with us, you'll see that we are objective.

EDIT: if Rabi or Fleek can post a link to our previous game, you'll see.

People tend to be objective with there voting, I find doing the votes are selves keeps the game more interactive so keeps players interested.

I haven't had the chance to watch it yet. I have been watching football this morning. I know the results, but want to see the action before I make a vote. That's the responsible thing to do. I'd planned on knowing what happened before I watched it because there was no way this card was going to trump some of the match-ups in college football this weekend for me anyhow.
