Fantasy football questions?

Just thought I'd throw this up here, cause I couldn't find the other thread we were writing them in...

Anyways, post some FF questions if you're looking for an outside opinion...

I'll start...

Hurting at RB... Got Rudi Johnson, but am not feeling good about him playing... Should I pick up Watson to handcuff he's sitting as a FA? But I already scooped up Jason Wright (Cle backup, looks like Lewis might sit [foot]) and they're going up against Mia (poor rush D)...

So here are my options:

Start at RB

DeAngelo Williams
Rudi Johnson (I think he'll sit)
Jason Wright
Ahman Green
pick up Watson
Derrick Ward (splitting carries with healthy jacobs and sat out practice Thur, ankle i think)
Could also pick up DeShawn Wynn
Probably someone else

I'm leaning toward Wright, but I don't know who else... maybe Ahman Green???

Any good advice out there would be appreciated

I am in the same situtaion Frank Gore has a bye week this week and my back ups were Jamal Lewis and Chris Brown I dropped lewis and picked up Leonard for the rams Jackson is still out, i know they are playing Balitmore this week but their "D" isn't what is was

Green might be a good choice but i dont know

I had DWill not good in FF dude cant put up #s as #2 back behind an okay starter just not a good option

Rudi Johnson is playing the bears who still have a good run D and bad pass D so they prob gonna pass that game (same with Watson)

Ahman Green might be the best option even though he is comming back from an inj but it is vs Jax
I would say go with Wynn do to Skin prob gonna try to stop Favre and not the run

But no one thinks that Wright would be a good call... I guess its a roll of the dice as to wether or not Lewis will play or not... But I got really lucky starting Kenton Keith last week (for an injured Addai) and hoping my luck will last...

I'm a little hesitant starting Ahman against Jax, but like you guys mentioned it is starting to look like my best option... Man I love/hate making these decisions.... Nothing burns me up more than seeing someone on my bench blow a game up... But that's the nature of the beast, right?

I almost talked myself into using my first round pick to get Brady (I had a pretty shitty position, like 9-10 out of 12), but then said, noooo I gotta go RB (Rudi) WR (S.Smith)... Hoped to pick him up in the third, but no dice, and I got left with Hasselcrack


EDIT: Someone just scooped Watson, so it looks like I'm stuck with what I got, unless I go with Wynn...

Sammy Morris

atleast 1 will be a Free agent.

I think Wright will have a good opportunity to have a nice game this week. As for the rest of the season, who knows. I think he would be a nice "fill in" this week. Scoop him up.

Alrigth, now I got QB problems... Hasselcrack's on a bye and my usually sturdy Garrard, isn't looking so sturdy... Seems like everyone's sittin on two QB's, so my choices are very very limited:

Alex Smith (WTF)
Trent Edwards
Carr or Testaverde
Kellen Clemens (if he plays)
Cleo Lemmon

God this looks even worse now that I wrote it out... I'm almost ready to throw up the damn white flag in this league... Rudi's done absolutely nothing for me this year, and both Smith and Fitzgerald lost their starting QB's... I've been filling in (with moderate luck) guys like Wright, Watson, Keith, Andre Davis and have squeeked by, but I think this week i'm just fu*ked...

Any suggestions?

isn't rudi injured?

Yeah, but he could return this weekend. He'll maybe split carries again though.

Morris probably wont be available, he's listed as sleeper pick on every website there is. I have Wynn, and he's been a good add in a pinch for me. Just make sure his matchup looks good for the week.

Lendale is nursing a hamstring problem right now, be careful there...

If it was me I would probably pick up Cleo Lemmon. I am forced to use him in a league where we play 2 QBS.

My choices for QB in that league is 2 out of these 4.. Cleo Lemmon, Brian Griese, D Culpepper, or Kurt Warner.... its tough... I'm going with the first 2...

I was thinking Lemmon as well, but I'm also looking at matchups... Cleo's playing the Giants who's D has been on a tear as of late... While Edwards is going up against Buffalo and their jury-rigged secondary and Smith (if he plays) is up against NewOrleans, weaker secondary as well... And I was thinking Carr/VInnie just cause I got SSmith and could possibly get a one two punch if either can get him the ball...

I'm hoping that Rudi comes back this week but am not holding my breath, but have Watson to handcuff and don't think either will do too well agaisnt that stingy Steelers run D...

Ahhhhh... FF drives me nuts!!!!

I guess the plus side to going with Lemon is that IF Miami scores any touchdowns chances are Lemmon will be apart of that either passing or rushing. Since Ronnie Brown is out for the year and they just traded Chambers there really isnt anyone else their to score points.

Griese just popped up on the waivers and I'm trying to claim him... The guys a little under the radar, but with the Bears lack of running game and the fact that they're going up against one of the league's worst pass defenses in the Lions I'm hoping that'll be a safe bet... Otherwise I think I'll go with Lemmon like you said... thanks for the tips either way
