I'd like to join a keeper league with (mostly) people I know. I've had a few offers to join random leagues with strangers but that's boring. I know Kpro started one up last season with the intent of having it be a keeper league but I'm pretty sure that fell through.
Anyways...any keeper leagues need to fill a spot?
Never played a Keeper league but Id join up if a league opened
I started a long term keeper league over 5 years ago. best way to play fantasy baseball imo. I'd be down for throwing together another one if there was enough interest (12 teams preferably).
The only thing to consider is that managing a keeper league usually requires getting a premium league from one of the major providers. I don't know of any fantasy baseball service that allows managing keeper type leagues for free.
In my current league we keep six guys based on draft values. You can keep a player for up to four additional seasons. The first season is at the same value with no inflation (draft 22nd round this season, kept 22nd round next). After that, the value increases by five rounds each of the next three seasons. Player can be dropped at any time during the contract.
Yahoo you can do it for free I think. If the commish reinstates the league (I think he also has to mark it as a keeper first, not sure), last season's rosters and draft status can still be viewed and the teams can nominate their keepers. I've been in a football league for the last four years that does it this way and a basketball league in it's 3rd season, I assume baseball will work the same
If we decide to start one I'm in
Nobody better touch Jeter! He is mine.
Soooo... what's the deal with this? Did you (Fleek) found your league or are we creating it? I can set it up and run it if y'all want to.
It looks like our league with Bubbles is going to be a keeper league Pedro.
I'll bring that up on the league page and majority wins
