That's confusing.. You would think a guy who has trouble with the likes of Ledbetter would have an even worse time with a Champion like Faber. In my opinion Faber beats Curran any day, drunk, and half brain dead. Of course they'd never let Faber fight if he was drunk and half brain dead.. Does that defeat my point?
you have obviously only watched mma on tv, correct?
How many of Currans fights have you seen?
i bet it is jusst the Ledbetter one, and beleive me faber knows he is one mistake or wild execution away from possibly being sub'd. I hope faber underestimates him, like yourself, by that fight, except thats the difference between faber and you...he is a professional that knows to study other fights, and knows what his opponet brings to the table.
Your right it was my only one, but because you said i've only seen the ledbetter fight, I went and watched the Krazy Horse fight and must say i'm still not impressed. Call it me being an overly enthusiastic Faber fan, or what not. I just don't see what makes Curran special. I'm about to watch the Yamamoto fight. I doubt it will change my mind either.. He looks like an average guy who is going to get a godlike beating.
Edit: If i'm wrong and Curran ends up defeating Faber, I will openly, make a topic in the Off-Topic section telling everyone how amazing your predicting skills are for seeing more into Curran than I think he deserves.
The only reason I even put him in the title of the thread was because he was one of the more interesting fighters to fight on the WEC 29 card.. Nothing more.
Edit 2: I hope that the Curran who got manhandled by Yamamoto comes in to face Faber. It'll be fun to see him lose. Something else i've noticed is that Curran loses when he faces A level guys (Matt Serra, Yamamoto), and when he's on A Level Cards (He lost both his only Pride fight, and his only UFC fight.). Most of his wins come off of guys who's loss count is higher than their win count. His biggest win came against Krazy Horse, who's current MMA record is 18-14-2.. Also looking at Faber and Curran's fights I noticed one thing that they both have in common. They both fought Ivan Menjivar. The thing is though, while Faber won his fight, Curran lost.
