i need an experienced opinion

i am looking into buying my first pair of fight/board shorts. which is better vale tudo or board. and i want to go with orange but warrior wear is the only place i can find them. is warrior wear a good brand.

Warrior Wear is a fair brand, personally I would go with Tapout or Sprawl, you can also get some from Punishment Athletics or ant of the popular fighting camps...

Then I would get the Vale Tudo ones. They are tighter, so they will hold onto your cup better, and are more comfortable imo, they are just like boxer shorts.

As for brands, I couldn't advise you on brands, as I've never bought MMA gear, but I'm sure Warrior Wear is a good brand, they have some good names on their endorsees list, but they also have Tim Sylvia...

The only kind of shorts I will ever wear are these ones

Its all personal preference IMO. Personally I like board shorts more, I find they are better for grappling as long as you have a split seem on the legs(i have sprawl's and they're great). Board shorts create a nice friction while grappling so its easier to hold in some techniques. Vale Tudo, I'd assume are more comfortable, but I wear compression shorts under my board shorts anyways.

Obviously, I'd go with the board shorts, but theres nothing wrong with the vale tudo style ones. I've heard good things about warrior wear, but have never had any of there stuff personally, so I can't help you out much there.
