For some reason your link didn't work for me but was able to find the story on the main page.
LINK Is it just me or does Shaw just sound bitter. Man I like EliteXC but I like all MMA but wow what a jackass move by Gary.
I cant seem to get the article up, but it seems to me to be some sort of publicity stunt.

A promoter trying to get his companies name out there? NO WAY!
Link fixed, they must've changed it for whatever reason after I posted it.

The competition is healthy for the most part. I'm glad the UFC has real competition so it makes them step up their game and also it forces them to pay more money to the big names to keep them there. Nothing wrong with that at all. EXC is great BTW, they have done a real good job with their events thus far.

I agree that Shaw proabaly makes those comments to get attention for himself and XC but I hate it when people use mudslinging for attention. It reminds me of those kids you see throwing a tantrum in the grocery store.

Shaw is definately bitter about the success of the UFC. Dana's statement about Shaw not liking MMA is true. When he was just involved in boxing, he talked very bad about MMA and how it wasn't as good as boxing, blah, blah, blah, but when he saw money to be made, he quickly jumped ship, or should I say bandwagon........?
