UFC Event At Military Base In December?

Although the event itself is still a rumor right now, it's possible that UFC could hold an event at a military base on December 10, possibly a UFN that would air on Spike similar to an event they did a couple years back. If this event happens, the first fight could be set-Corey Hill vs. Navy veteran Dale Hartt.

It's now confirmed: UFN on December 10 at Ft. Bragg, North Carolina. Main card will air live on Spike. Admission will be FREE for military personnel. This means a busy week for us fans as this will be just 3 days before the TUF 8 Finale. 2 nights of free MMA just 3 days apart? I'm there.

It makes me happy when the sport stands up and does things like this for free for the military....


When will the NFL or NBA show this much love ????

Maybe when/if more of their athletes spend time serving before their pro careers. I can only think of a couple of NFL players who have done that, the only NBA player I'm aware of that's done that was David Robinson (at least 2 years in the Navy before starting his NBA career).
