that sounds like the ravings of a man that only has a shred of sanity left. i hope this time he is able to clean up his act, its news here because hes fighter that was one of the best, but people everywhere in every walk of life go through this. hopefully he can be one of those that comes out the other side a better person and not another guy with woulda, coulda, and shoulda beens involved in every conversation about him.

Sounds like he's broken. Good for him. I don't care if he ever fights again - if he's able to overcome the addiction, he's earned my respect and his own self-respect again.
...of course it would be great if he got back to the point of fighting again.

Best of luck to Evan Tanner. I liked his giant hair, and I hope to see it back in the Octagon sometime soon.
That explains everything. Cause only a guy hittin the bottle would show up like this. No corn rows or mullets please. Juuust Kidding! Good luck Evan.

Nothing but best wishes for him. I certainly hope he succeeds, it's never too late to turn things around and it sounds like he realizes that.

But his old blogs sounded just the same, if not more coherant and believable, he sold everything he had and set off to go train, we thought he had been and was returning to the ufc soon but he made a blog saying he never started training and eventually started drinking again, im hoping and praying he can kick the bottle and get back to his best but these few years of drinking and ageing wont have helped him at all, he is now 37 i do believe
