Whats up everyone? I've been training for a while now and i've been trying to find various foods or supplements that can keep my energy up during workouts and lifting. I started drinking natural fruit juices from Goji berries and Jujubes and I have noticed a HUGE difference in my workouts. Check out these health benefits you get from Goji berries...

* 11 essential and 22 trace dietary minerals
* 18 amino acids
* 6 essential vitamins
* 8 polysaccharides and 6 monosaccharides
* 5 unsaturated fatty acids, including the essential fatty acids, linoleic acid and alpha-linolenic acid
* beta-sitosterol and other phytosterols
* 5 carotenoids, including beta-carotene and zeaxanthin (below), lutein, lycopene and cryptoxanthin, a xanthophyll
* numerous phenolic pigments (phenols) associated with antioxidant properties

Select examples given below are for 100 grams of dried berries.

* Calcium. Goji berries contain 112 mg per 100 gram serving, providing about 8-10% of the Dietary Reference Intake (DRI).
* Potassium. Goji berries contain 1,132 mg per 100 grams dried fruit, giving about 24% of the DRI.
* Iron. Goji berries have 9 mg iron per 100 grams (100% DRI).
* Zinc. 2 mg per 100 grams dried fruit (18% DRI).
* Selenium. 100 grams of dried Goji berries contain 50 micrograms (91% DRI)
* Riboflavin (vitamin B2). At 1.3 mg, 100 grams of dried Goji berries provide 100% of DRI.
* Vitamin C. Vitamin C content in dried Goji berries has a wide range (from different sources[citation needed]) from 29 mg per 100 grams to as high as 148 mg per 100 grams (respectively, 32% and 163% DRI).

Goji berries also contain numerous phytochemicals for which there are no established DRI values. Examples:

* Beta-carotene: 7 mg per 100 grams dried fruit.
* Zeaxanthin. Reported values for zeaxanthin content in dried Goji berries vary considerably, from 2.4 mg per 100 grams [41] to 82.4 mg per 100 grams [42] to 200 mg per 100 grams[43]. The higher values would make Goji berry one of the richest edible plant sources known for zeaxanthin content.[44] Up to 77% of total carotenoids present in Goji berry exist as zeaxanthin.[45]
* Polysaccharides. Polysaccharides are a major constituent of Goji berries, representing up to 31% of pulp weight.

Does anyone know of any other type of fruit that has great health benefits? Let me know what you think.

I take CARNIVOR Beef Protein Isolate......it has tons of aminos and creatine as well....gives you lots of energy without the crash afterwards.

The best protein/energy supplement that I have ever taken.

Blueberrys are a great brain food since were talking berries but for workouts i like to take an N.O. product about 30 minutes before my workout and 5 grams of glutamine 45 minutes before I lift.Keeps my energy levels high and If your body responds the the N.O. product youll have an amazing pump and alot of energy plus mental focus.

i stick to parrillo performance supplements. they got their ultimate amino formula and their beef liver amino blend. they are awesome supplements but like Sonnen said the beef liver stinks and gives you some nasty farts. other than that they are really good quality.

Hey I tried this new product called Bazi. I guess Bobby Lashley is promoting it, but anyway, it really helped me get through my workouts. I got a 16 serving bottle off this promotion website Bazi Drink Promotion , you guys should look into it.
