The 26-year-old Emelianenko, the younger brother of top-ranked PRIDE heavyweight champion Fedor Emelianenko, scored a quick submission victory over MMA veteran Dan Bobish in the night’s main event. The Russian fighter locked in a guillotine choke that forced a tapout at 1:09 of the first round.

In other action, Salmon, a two-time UFC fighter, scored a second-round TKO victory over Brazilian Marcus Vinicios. Salmon, a 30-year-old former Ohio State wrestler, forced a referee’s stoppage at 4:22 of the second round due to a series of unanswered strikes.

Its good to see Alexander, he is doing great. Doing better with his subs when I use to think he was just all KO power. Good for him...

I think Sean Salmon was just going through UFC big stage jitters. He'll do better if they give him a chance. I'll he'll be champ but he good get a win next time most definitely...

The UFC need him badly, he is a cool scary looking HW the casual fans like to see fight, his back tattoo will sell alot of ppv's on its own!

Salmon has fought 7 times in the last 4 and a half months... I think he needs to train a little for each fight, and not take every fight offered.

Plus, I dont think it was jitters. He lost at a small show to Travis Wiuff after his losses in the UFC, so.......

Pretty sure its a top tier fighter thing. He's a good middle of the road fighter, but not good enough to face top guys like the UFC have currently... But, hey... props for him fighting every 10 minutes (There he goes again. Another fight since I've been typing...)

Both of the E brothers need to come to the UFC and then maybe in a couple of years have a match against each other....that would be hillarious!!!
