I'm not sure why everyone is picking Penn, can someone explain? The way I see it is that Vera is so much bigger than Penn and he has better striking and if Penn tried to go to the ground I think Vera wouldn't let him.

i dont know why people are choosing randy over josh barnnet, barnnett already beat randy, and this are the kinds of match ups that are very bad for randy, barnnett is a better wresteler, and he will take the fight down, and control randy, people are forgetting that this was the reason that randy moved down to LHW in the first place, because he was having trouble with bigger, heavier guys, mainly wrestelers...

People are homerist on the board, and I am glad that you are a realist.

I did my own tournament on the boards and I think BJ Penn had to square off against Mirko Cro Cop, and I think people voted BJ to defeat Mirko..

BJ I personally do not like, he is a great fighter without a doubt, but I dont think he could beat anybody at heavyweight ot light heavyweight.

Yeah a guy who can't beat Lyoto Machida is suppossed to beat Tim Sylvia and Brandon Vera. Maybe some crazy shit happens in the Sylvia fight, but Vera, wow, BJ would be in a world of trouble.
