A breakdown of my picks:
I sometimes feel during the draft projects people become lazy to acknowledge people's fight cards, effort, fines and results, instead it's easier to view the finances, see someone's in the lead and vote against him. To all the new players I'm hoping the game is starting to make sense now, we use the same format all the way through.
i get it yo!!!!!!
That is round 1 complete, we use the same format for each round.
In each rd we introduce more fighters, we also have an extra card each rd, we introduce the bonuses, the vote values and the fines.
Lots of chances to make up the money.
I hope now we have completed a round the game makes more sense.
Values in round 2.
Each fine is now 2,000,000
Each Bonus is now 2,000,000
The voting is:
1. 2,000,000
2. 1,800,000
3. 1,600,000
4. 1,400,000
5. 1,200,000
6. 1,000,000
7. 800,000
8. 600,000
9. 400,000
10. 200,000
Before I set up bidding for rd 2, I need a PM from everybody to confirm if they would like to put any of there Rosta up for sale, if you would say yes and list the fighters (they will sell to the highest bidder) if you dont then just confirm no)
Thanks
I have to say a big well done to emfleek, he made the most money on his card and also spent the least putting it together.
Well done, great job, now I'm gunning for you!

Jay, let me be the first to say I appreciate you putting that kind of effort into it. It makes it as fair as possible. Now that you posted that template I'm probably going to follow that method. I've been doing it kind of like Fleek so far. Whichever event I would pay to watch more.

When doing the first project I realised how easy it was too change the outcome of the game by ranking a good card poorly. I know cards are based on opinions but I feel I want to show that its not a bias.
You can steal my template or make your own, just think to yourself what is most important. To me it's my favourite fighters and excitement before knowing the results.
But thanks
Just waiting on confirmation from 3 people!
Excellent response, just waiting on 1 more.

Though I have no problem with the way Jay ranks the cards, I don't personally think it's as "fair as possible" simply because it's still a matter of opinion. Now that he has shared his formula, votes can easily be manipulated.
For example...I prefer my "setup" to be uniform. Equal spacing. Good flow. Realistic name. "Professional" looking as if you were to see it on a flyer or event poster. That's cool for me but maybe it's not what Joe Schmoe prefers. Maybe he prefers event names such as "PCP 24 - Smoke It If You Got It"...in the end, I'm going to get the shaft every time you vote because my setup remains the same from start to finish rather than the name changing from one event to the next.
Again, I think it's cool that you've gone so in depth over ranking but I don't consider it to be any more 'fair' than the way myself or anyone else ranks.
EDIT: In other words, the only way I would consider it to be fair is if *everyone* used the same criteria to rank cards.

im rating min solely on how much i would pay to watch the card. i looked up all fighters when voting on who i thought won, so i have a pretty good idea who they might be, how they fight, & if they like to finish, even if i dont 100% KNOW the fighter,

im rating min solely on how much i would pay to watch the card. i looked up all fighters when voting on who i thought won, so i have a pretty good idea who they might be, how they fight, & if they like to finish, even if i dont 100% KNOW the fighter,
i do mine pretty much the exact same way, except i put a very high emphasis on fighter values, also fighter marketability-(in other words, which fighters, or matchups, would attract the most fans, or ppv buys, in this case
for example-airkermas main event, james te huna vs fransisco france,m a good fight, but the only reason its inthe main event is because one of thoise 2 fighters is the most well known, and the other fighter is good enough to make it competitive, but compared to other cards ive looked at, it would only be good enough to be a swing bout, or opener at best, ive seen a lot of examples of these, including my own card-these are the little things i look at
compare and contrast

Everyone has a diferent idea on how a good card is done. Myself, I don't put much credence into card names. I've seen plenty of promotions have horrible card names like "X-Mas Day Beatings" and the such with quality fights. I've got some rumble on the rock dvds that had everything bad except the fights. So I do as Fleek does and just go by which cards I would pay to see.
