I'm loving this game guys. The 1 thing I wish we could do tho was release guy that aren't meeting our company standards...or can we?

Yes, you can. They go back into the pool of fighters to bid on and they go to the highest bidder (you get the money if someone picks them up).

You can put them up for bid when the time comes around.

I have a question. Why did we decide to do away with trading and selling fighters?

Seconded. I loved the wheeling & dealing aspect of the last game.

That was a decision I made as I found it hard to keep up, Im not gonna change it back for this game as I dont like to change the rules during the game, but I wll reintroduce it for the next game.

Can I release my entire roster, and just have some good fighters during the next bidding?

Agreed, I've already tried to make a trade, but was reminded we didn't include that this game. Understandable though.

With hind site, it was a bad call by me, I will defo include them in the next game, (Im hoping we will have the same group again) wont be looking to add any one else unless some one requests to join in.

Will there be a chance too discuss ideas for the next game before we start it?
Rabi
10/28/11 4:19:01PM
Yea! I would love to hear new idea's tot improve the game, but if its ok we will do it when this one has finished so as not to distract from this game.

I understand why you wouldn't include it. With 10 guys it could definitely become confusing. Especially with half the guys being introduced to the game this time around. I also hope we get the same group of guys next time around. We'll all know exactly what we're doing and the game will become very competitive between all of us.

Thanks Budge, I do think the game will be more competitive as the new players get used to the concept, with a few new idea's added as well.

I'd also still like to handpick some of the 250-100 Fighters and do it snake draft style so everybody begins with 2 fighters free.

Handpick by going through all the divisions and searching for well-known popular fighters.

I wouldn't wanna change the rules now, but maybe before the next game starts. I'm in agreement about keeping the same guys. I fully understand the way the game works. I also like hats idea about starting with 2 well known fighters at the beginning. I think it would save all of us some time when it comes time to choose the winners at the start of the game

I look forward to voicing some ideas I have at the start of the next game

Still a greatest side game on the playground tho

I like Jays idea as well.

But, I think we should wait amd when this game has finished we can discuss adding new idea's to the game.

The only reason I dont want to start now is i dont want to confuse the rules in this game and I dont like changing the rules mid game.

Thanks Jay, will defo set up a thread and we can take the game we have got now and add to it and take away to improve it, and hopefully have the same 10 players.
