My first fight April 21st I was supposed to be at 160, but I dropped the match because I found out my opponent was 4-0 all KO's. I would have taken the bout but my trainer didnt want to throw me to the wolves my first fight. SO unfortunatley the only option I have is to drop wieght to a staggering 147 within 5 weeks.

I wieghed myself this morning and I was 166 so I got to lose 19 FOOKING pounds. Im already scrawny as hell and I have no idea where Im going to drop the wieght from.

Im thinking liposuction.... You guys have any safe, LEGAL suggestions please let me know

ur fighting in the wrong weight class, if its that hard for u to loose the weight youre just gonna keep it on after and when it comes to your future fights your gonna go through hell all over again trying to drop

How tall are you?

First thing is start drinking a shit-ton of water. Come fight time you stop drinking and you'll piss out a lot of the water. Drinking water also gets rid of toxins. Bikram yoga is also good for getting rid of toxins. You want the toxins out of your system so you have an easier time losing fat. Switch to a completely organic diet, no pesticides - again toxins so you have an easier time burning fat. www.whfoods.com has a list of about 130 healthy foods, read up on the descriptions of all of them to figure out what's the best for you. Also buy the book "The Grappler's Guide to Sports Nutrition", very useful book on the topic of cutting weight, you can get it online and download it as a PDF.

you dont often hear guys around the FW and LW classes dropping 20 lbs. Most WW's dont go that far. My advice. Cut back any weights you are doing big time. And start running like a martha Focker. And drink lots of water. Besides turning your body in to allwater weight it helps you burn fat.

Ya it's pretty bad that I have to drop that much wieght, but my trainer believes I can do it and I trust him completely. I've actually only got 12 lbs to go now.

Do you have 12lbs to go based on weighing yourself before training or after training?

It's pretty easy to lose 5lbs after training, you'll have to weigh yourself around the time of day you expect the weigh ins to be.

Doing Pad rounds, sparring, bag rounds, jogging, etc for 2 hours everyday, my trainer thinks I should be able to drop because Im naturally a skinny guy, and I gotta drop my excess muscle mass. By the time Im done Im gonna look like Kid Yamamato.

Unfortunately my Girlfriend wont appreciate my extreme scrawny physique
