Yeah, if you picked Mousasi you might've won. I can't wait for Junkie to get that CC-Overeem video up this weekend so I can see the strikes that led to the NC. I sense we have not heard the last of this grudge.

Wasn't Akiyama part of the tournament? Aren't they in the same weight class?

Mousasi-Souza is it, the card's now over. As for Akiyama, he wasn't entered in the MWGP.

yeah watched it live and i gotta say props to Mousasi. Jacare was throwing him around for the first 2 minutes then Mousasi landed that huge up kick. Congratulations to Mousasi on winning the tourny. wouldn't it be awesome if the UFC grabbed Jacare, Mousasi, Manhoef, and Zelg haha i can dream...

Manhoef despite the loss is still something of a smaller CC. If given the opportunity he could totally devastate the UFC MW Division and perhaps even be a threat to Silva. Maybe when UFC goes to the Philippines next year some of these guys will finally get their chance to get in the door. Just sucks that Junkie won't have the GP fights up until the weekend (ditto for CC-Overeem) but I'm still looking forward to seeing them.

yeah it was a very good card. most of the fights were exciting to watch. my favorite (judging by my avatar can't be too surprising) was Jacare Vs. Zelg. Jacare amazes me with his BJJ skill every time he fights.

I forgot to record it, damnit.

Anyone know when HDNet is airing the first replay? I'm sure they'll show it 300 times in the next few weeks.
