once again, nobody knows when this show airs overseas, i think before each show airs we need to know this so nobody posts spoilers. usually the next day people want to discuss in the ufc forum but i don't want to get flamed and bitched at and at the same time i have no idea if the fans overseas have seen the event yet, the system is flawed.

9pm GMT in the UK tonight.

Dunno about the rest of the world.

Agreed that we need to have a timeframe that's acceptable to all fans to allow posting without fear of spoilers.

Who knows... I checked almost every MMA site I could think of, and they have "spoilers" plastered all over the front page...

I guess after 9:00 pm GMT like Moob said....

I agree with this. Once its been aired in the states i would stay off mma sites once i have seen it. If people are sily enough to come on a forum before they have seen the event then it is there fault if they hear the results.

PS i live in the UK and include myself with in this statement.

Once it has aired it is not a spoiler! Those overseas, sorry but, stay off the sites if you don't want to know. You can already watch it live on the net anyway.

Website Rule #4 : Spoilers: Do not post event spoilers under any circumstances (except for any forum marked as a "spoiler" forum). Be considerate of other members that may not have access to view an event in their country until after you do.

Going by that rule, and the fact this is not the spoilers forum, and the fact i know that at least one country (the u.k) will not see the fights for another 4 hours, id say the answer to your question is no, going by the site rules anyways.

I'm glad to get some back from a UK member.

The facts are: 1. The American audience is the biggest one 2. EVERY mma site posts things as news once they've aired in America. 3. UFC is an American show. 4. Once the majority of the audience has seen it it isn't a spoiler.

This is a recent rule change. Previously it wasn't an issue, just like it isn't on other sites. It is a rule change which contradicts the rules of all other sites. It's not just an mma thing. I go to LOST sites. If foreigners don't want teh spoilers they better stay in the foreign forums (on those sites). When a show is based in a particular country live is live. Results are there. If we don't want to see them we all know how to avoid them.

The thing is, again I'm not trying to be a dick but, if you don't want to know the results of an event that has happened ANYWHERE at anytime don't go on the sites you know are gonna have spoilers.

I wouldn't have had a problem w/ PRIDE events being "spoiled" once they aired in Japan. As an American, I can either see the event even tho I got the spoilers or I can avoid the sites that are going to have spoilers.

Besides, I find it quite hard to believe that most foreign fans that care "that much" about spoilers wouldn't be watching these event live on the net. I watch the English events live.

AND if you did a card on this event and don't want to know you shouldn't log in anyway.

I personally don't care, but have a decent title that doesn't announce the winner/result of the fights for people who haven't had the oppertunity to see it.

If the ufc was only american, why do they do 3 shows a year in the u.k? and its easier to watch an event in a differant country when its on at like 3 in the afternoon in America, we have to stay up till like 6 in the morning, not everybody can do that.

During the UFC events overseas I avoid MMA websites from noon until I watch the event at 7pm.

It's not that hard.

Why are you complaining.

YOU CAN DISCUSS THE EVENTS THE SECOND IT FINISHED, JUST GO TO THE 'SPOILER FORUM'

I don't get what's so f****** hard about it? It's simple, forum rules are rules, America isn't the only country in the world, have some respect.

P.S, I say 2 days after the event seems fair.

So your saying staying away from mma sites and not being able to find out any news for like 5 hours or whatever is the same as having to stay away for 3 days?

If you don't wanna know the results of an event it is not hard to not find out. I don't care where or when and event takes place. If it's happened it can be talked about, jmho, spoilers don't ruin an event for me. Often it makes me wanna watch a good fight that I thought might not be so good. MMA forums are not part of what you have to do daily. You always know someone's gonna be a dick about it so don't look, be a f uck in adult.

I can't believe we are even entertaining the idea of forcing members to put Sub of the Night, Medical Reports and Fighter Payout news articles in a spoilers forum.

That is NEWS.

There is no way to regulate 48 hours of no talking about each event unless we create those without live access their own news forum so they don't accidentally see who won the KO of the Night bonus.

The less than 1% that feels news like that is a spoiler should be the ones to have their own sub-news-forum.

Or rather that creating an entirely knew forum, which would contain the exact same things as the main news forum minus by what my working would be around 20-25 days of the year, people could just post this news in the spoilers forum.

I understand that.

But why should i go to a spoiler forum to read about Medical Suspensions,Payouts etc...To me that is news not a spoiler.

2 days after an event im ready to discuss the next event.

Did you know Jesus was Jewish...I hope i didnt spoil anything

Yeah but what you need to understand is, the site rule says, in a nut shell, dont post spoilers in the wrong forums until everybodies had the chance to see the event. So we see these rules, then we see them backed up by a moderator, so as far as im concered, i should beable to come on the site and not see any spoilers unless i go to the spoilers forum, and have every right to be pissed off when a spoiler is posted elsewhere, when by the rules, this should never happen. Personally, i dont care, becouse i watch the events live anyways, but i think its bullshit anybody else should have to suffer becouse of other peoples blaintant disregard for the websites rules and other people.
