Wow what can I say Dan Barrera was not what I expected he was in such good shape and had what looked like alot of skills in training but didnt perform well at all most of the fight he was bobbing and walking around the cage he got 1 or 2 punches in the first than nothing after that I thought he would go in with much more intensity, what do you guys think?

i think ben surprised him a little with the weird angles his kicks and punches came from because he is so tall. ben was also probably a little stronger than dan thought he would be, but i thought barerra looked pretty good and im sure he'll be on the finale fighting someone.

i like barrera. he just looked kinda gassed during the fight (and clueless at some points), but took some nasty punishment from saunders's knees and kicks. i think they both have potential. saunders is really goofy and they are both entertaining individuals.

i was stunt by his performance in the fight.
by looking at him in trainning i was under the impression that he was going to take the guy down and to GNP him until the ref stop the fight.

his stand up was not his best weapon and i really understand why hugues was so upset about everything, he was raging against the referee but he was more angry about Dan than anything else !!

I just expected him to throw more and when he had Ben on the ground it was a stand off for like over a minute he didnt kick or let him up he just kinda swatted at him .

You gotta understand it was his second fight, and you could definitely tell. But he showed a lot of heart, and left it all out there. He'll be at the finale for sure, he just needs a couple more fights, and training under his belt.

It wasn't that Barrera was disappointing, it was that Saunders wasn't. If you look at Saunders he looks like the general fighter who isn't to unique. Then he steps in the octagon, and he's like a monster. Did you see him get knocked down, and then start smiling as blood was pouring down his nose? That's crazy. Just think. Serra's supposedly top fighter out of the group hasn't even fought yet. I mean, I hope George isn't getting too hyped. It will make him losing if he does, even more bitter. Jon Koppenhaver though, I believe is a great fighter, but gets played up as a bad one. It might shock more people that Koppenhaver could win, than Barrera losing.

I think Matt Hughes though I don't like him, got screwed in the initial analysis, because he picked guys that looked like they could be fighters, and left Serra with the different, not natural fighters, and except for Joe, the oddballs, have done well. If Joe wasn't Serra's friend, I could've easily seen Joe and someone from Hughes' team getting switched, because I think Hughes would've picked him.

What will be the biggest disappointment though will be if Mac Danzig does go on to win the whole thing for Hughes, beating every fighter on the Serra team. I know Danzig will have a career in the UFC after this, but I think just because I believe Hughes will beat Serra, that one of Serra's guys should win the whole thing.
