OK so I had posted this question on another topic because everyone was posting weird questions but I thought I would see what everyone thought about this...........
"Why do they call a Parkway, Parkway and a Driveway, a Driveway when you drive on a Parkway and park on a Driveway ?"

Where I am from we have driveways that you drive on to get to your parking spot. And we don't have parkways, that would be just confusing.
