Claims he dominated Nick Diaz and outclassed Karo, is he insane?? don't get me wrong he is a great fighter who legitimately won both of those fights but those statements are absurd. I noticed no mention of the John Alessio fight though and how he dominated him.

I just had to delete a post on this thread for fighter bashing.

State your opinions, but do so in a respectful manner please.

He did dominate Nick Diaz and outclassed Karo. The Karo fight was a good fight but it was clear Diego was the better of the two. The Diaz fight he controlled Diaz from start to finish. So I have to agree with Diego on this. You may not like the guy but he is a very good fighter that overwhelms most of the fighters he faces and he gets better almost every time he fights.

i actually do like the guy, just thought he was out of whack on this one. the karo fight was still up for grabs going into the final round and it was a stalemate talent wise, diego won on conditioning, i don't know how that constitutes as outclassing somebody. against diaz he definitely won but controlling the fight and dominating the fight are two different things.

Yeah Diego might have dominated Joe Riggs but both fights in ? were not lopsided. Diego fairly won both but not in any kind of dominant fashion..

Well I didn't see the fight the same way. I felt Diego was the more active and aggressive fighter the hole fight. But lets say your right and he just had better conditioning and fight was even till the 3rd than that still means he out classed him as a fighter as conditioning is a major part of being a fighter.

Also in the Diaz fight he did dominate Diaz the hole fight. Controlling someone the hole fight is domination if they cant do anything to stop it. Diaz was like a deer in headlights for most of the fight and had nothing to offer against Diego.

Hahaha Nice burn.

Seriously though, while Diego won both of those fights, Id say dominating and outclassing might be a little far fetched. If he considers those fights dominant then I wonder how he feels about his fight with Fitch.

Those comments aside though, I really like Sanchez as a fighter. He always brings it (apart from the Kos fight when he had staph) and never gives up. The guys heart and conditioning are second to none. I just feel sometimes he oversteps the mark between confident and cocky, and im just not a fan of cocky fighters.

I disagree about controling a fight = dominating a fight

example-

clay guida controlled mac danzig the entire fight but i wouldnt call it a dominating a fight

GSP controlled and dominated matt serra in there second fight

to me there is a clear difference between controlling and dominating

i have never been a fan of diego so my opinions are biased against him

so his comments came off a little cocky but i dont really expect anything else from him

In a rematch Id pick Nick without a second thought. I cant remember if he "dominated" or not but he won and there was no controversy so why would he not feel he dominated? Give the guy some slack, he's a good fighter.
