Diaz/Sakurai fight off

Nick Diaz will not be fighting Mach Sakurai. At least not in the July Dream card, as EliteXC has decided to not let him fight due to "contractual obligations'. Apparently EliteXC has other plans for Diaz and the July date might conflict with their plans.

huge disappointment, this fight had fight of the year potential. hopefully somewhere down the road they can go at it, these two guys would put on a show.

thats gay but prolly good for Diaz. He doesnt fight nearly as good as he used to, his boxing isnt as crisp anymore. Sakurai prolly would have beat his ass

I think KJs going to get the best of him again. Diaz to be slowly declining in his skills. Not a fan of the guy, but he puts on really exciting fights, and would like to see him back to his old form.

Nick Diaz's skills are declining. Are you guy's kidding me?
He just beat Takanori Gomi last year, who was considered the #1 lightweight at the time and the guy's only 24 years old. If anything he's improving. Don't let the KJ Noons fight fool you. That was an abberation and Nick made a mistake playing his game .
At 24, he's only going to get better.

I hope they put him in there against Noons on the July CBS card. That would be great. I don't know if they will put a fight like that as an undercard, they would probably wanto advertise it as a headliner. I also don't know if the world is ready for Nick Diaz on network television.lol. Sucks we don't get to see him fight Mach though.

Well they told him he couldn't fight on the dream 3 card too, but he ended up getting permission, lets hope that he can change their mind again.

Nick is tougher than KJ. Remember he did not get knocked out, it was stopped on a cut. It's funny how people say his skills are declining, he's young, and like the aforementioned guy said, beat Gomi while high as shit. He's gonna own high noons. Catch my drift.
