While UFC president Dana White, the head of the world's biggest and most influential mixed-martial-arts promotion in the sport, is undoubtedly one of the most influential people in the history of the sport, the exec is not one of the 100 most influential people in the world.

That's according to Time magazine, who today released the 2010 edition of the "Time 100," an annual poll that names the 100 most influential people in the world.

Exactly! Why have people vote on it if your not going to go by the votes anyway?

I guess Bob Arum or that New York Senator are running the show over there

After this incident, I think Time has been pretty suspicious regarding cult heroes with a large internet fanbase on their 100 list.

It's a fan poll determining the most influential (not the most known) people in the world. That's just a ridiculous list to ascertain, even if it was left entirely to experts.

I thought that story was funny as hell, actually. That's a lot of effort just to make an arbitrary Time 100 list.
