Former lightweight contender Dennis Siver is planning a move to featherweight in 2012, sources close to the fighter confirmed with MMAFighting.com. No word just yet on when the 19-8 German fighter will make his debut in the 145-pound weight class.

Very true. I think Siver is to short at LW and the Div is way to competitive right now. FW will be an easier run for the title no doubt.
Cole Miller on the other hand, DOES NOT need to cut down. Hell I'd say he pull a "Reem" and bulk up.

Interesting...I like siver a lot at lightweight, curious to see if he can actually cut the weight to a point where he can be relevant in a fight w/o gassing out against fast guys like erik koch and even junior aldo...should be fun to watch

His reach always puts him at a disadvantage given that his forte is striking. I like the move though.

Physically the right move imo. Lose some muscle mass will improve his cardio and will be in a division where is height and reach should be less of an issue.

Siver has a 70 inch reach. Thats not small at all for LW nor FW.

Wow didn't realise his reach was that big. Guess it's just the impression I have of him purely because of how muscular he is lol
