If Guillard still hasn't learned a ground game, and gets taken down, Siver by Sub.

If Siver stands, Guillard by KO.

Been practising your BJJ down the local school again eh

Siver if he leaves his towel or maybe gi out in advance

Its a fine line fight for sure, standing it should be all Melvin, but on the ground its all Siver, only way to tell is to study TD's and TDD

hehe i like your style man

It's what ive been studyin' for a lil while now and so far, Siver's TD'S are looking strong enough for Guillard who got taken down by some guy Eric Regan (10-10) who i never heard of. And If guillard couldnt finish the fight on his feet vs that Regan guy, I doubt he can do anything vs Siver.

I think it depends on how many times Guillard gets referred to as "explosive" and "athletic".

In all seriousness, Melvin has earned his way into my "never pick this guy again" category.

I completely agree with you, I'm so tired of picking Melvin to win by round 1 KO, only to be horribly disappointed in his sub defense that i pretty much told myself I'd never do it again. That being said I'll never pick Melvin again..

Very much agreed, but I've got Drew McFeDries in that same category, and it's WAY more disappointing to watch that guy bash his opponent in round 1 after you emotionally bet AGAINST him for the first time.

I jumped off the McFedries boat just before this fight. Eastman about made me throw my tv.

Everyone should bet all of their money on Guillard... all of it... especially CPT...

Guillard looked good in his last fight (the one out of the UFC) ... If he fights like that he should win this... but he is horribly inconsistent, and hard to pick...

that being said I think I am gonna give him another chance...to get this win

see here's my thinking from what i herd siver has no chin and guillard has no sub defense and most of the time the fight goes to the ground so i'm going with siver sub in the 2nd round

I got Melvin picked to win..But Siver in my parlay...we'll see what happens.

You would hate it if Guillard got the KO. Lol.

At any point Melvin can do this

But at the same time he can get take down subbed fair and square then complain and make out they should still fight as with Clementi

Gotta go with Siver on this one. He knows thats where he wins the fight (on the ground). If he intends to take it there, there's little Guillard can do about it.

IM not overly impressed with Siver, and Melvin has been pretty inconsistent, but he has extremely quick hands and could deliver and knockout at anytime.

Guillard, rd1, ko

There is no way you should have Mcfederies in that category w/o eastman right there with him

anyways the neer, stevenson, and clementi fight guillard got subbed pretty easily but none of those fight ending submissions came from a terrific td from his opponent Neer - guillard jumped on him, stevenson - caught him while he was swinging while and clementi - guillard slipped coming in w/ a knee.

Siver was also submitted by jesse liaudin....thats bad

I still think guillard is horrible but i think he wins the fact that he actually went the distance is a bad thing for many but to me seems like a sign that hes not fighting too wild and looking for the big KO

gyillard by decision

Guillard has been working his ground game so I have faith in him. I think he'll be able to keep it on the feet and knock this dude the fudge out.

Then comes Sam Stout in the Fight of the year!!!

Denis has never really impressed me tbh, i mean, Melvin is inconsistent, but hes gotta know this is his last chance in the ufc so i think hes going to really go for broke and knock the shit out of Denis in the first round.

on first glance I have Siver by sub, but then I watched the Siver vs. Wallhead matchup and it's just Siver getting GNP'd for 8 minutes before getting an armbar.

I think if Guillard was given 8 minutes in the guard he'd have picked up a TKO but at the same time he's probably more susceptible to subs than Wallhead.

I'm still on the fence and will probably pay close attention to the weigh-ins.

the weigh ins are a bit inconsistant at times but i also look at the weigh ins to make last minute picks (that sometimes fail me)
