Maia is a very good fighter and i really think he can become a real danger in the MW !!

My only problem with this fight is it might be like the Lister Arona fight, snoozer.

yea, it think thats how it might go...both guys are so good on the ground(submission wise) that its very hard for them to submit eachother since they both know alot, so the winner will ultimately who controls the ground game, and who is on top for most of the fight......but i wouldnt be surprised if maia came away with the RNC in the second or 3rd....

would be a ju-jitsu war, but could end up a boring match.....I would go with Lutter for the win by Majority Decision, although I think technically Maia is a bit better on the ground

Maia is by far the more technically sound grappler, but Lutter has much more MMA experience, is the bigger man, and has very good top control. Iwould expect Travis to win a decision here, but the new guy definitely has the ground savvy to sub him. It would either be a grappling exhibition of massive proportions and amazing to watch or a boring positional control battle. I'd like to see it, but given Lutter's standing with the suits right now, and how good Maia looked in his debut, I'm assuming they will give him someone who looks less promising and make this a filler bout.

Maia would be an alright choice but as soon as I saw that Franklin was out I thought about Leben replacing him.
I really think Leben could take Lutter and it would put him right back into the picture at 185.

i heard a while back that maia is suppose to fight in ohio, so now with tanner, lutter and maia two of those guys have to be fighting eachother
