- Maia is going to have no problem with the weight cut.
- Maia is more worried about Marquardt's technique than his strength. He says Marquardt is a worthy opponent on the ground.

- Anderson Silva was "talking some bullshit" in Brazil about Maia because he felt Maia challenged him when Maia asked for a title shot after his last victory.

TBH if i destroyed the kind of talent anderson has the way he has, id be cocky as hell too, maia gets KTFO before the fight hit the ground with anderson, unless he pulls off a flying heel hook,

I don't think being good is a valid excuse for acting like an a**hole towards people. You won't see Fedor acting like a spoiled child.

maia left something out... he forgot to say that he said that he wants to break anderson's arm after the sonnen fight (post fight press conference). I would talk some sh*t too if some guy i know i could KO easily was talking about breaking my arm.

I like cocky fighters if they are extremely witty or entertaining---Ali, etc... but I like humble fighters more Fedor, Mousasi, GSP, Griffin, etc...
I have no idea whether Silva is cocky or not. He's really really really good though. If he's a jerk and too cocky then maybe he can't come to my bbq after all....

all this talk of "being cocky" is just hearsay anyway. who knows what anderson is saying to people in brazil. he said, she said
