Don't EVER tell me that you think Chuck Liddell should retire because he is "overhyped" and a "one-dimensional striker".

You should lose your Man Card for that.

I seriously had an argument on a local messageboard I frequent with someone who thought it was funny that Liddell got knocked out. I love Chuck but can understand why others don't and can also understand how someone may get excited seeing him lose. BUT...when I asked the guy his reasons for not liking Chuck, this is what he said.

ive been a fan of kimbo slice for years now, well, well before he decided to try and stick his old, blunt smokin ass into an mma ring.

i think liddell is washed up, hes overhyped and still thinks of himself as bad man when he really isnt. hes nothing more than a one dimensional striker.

and i also hate how so many people are on his jock.

Liddell isn't washed-up, the game has just caught up to him a little bit. He keeps his hands down all the time so it was just a matter of time before somebody chin-checked him the way Rampage and Rashad did. He can still be very relevant and if the UFC is smart they would match him up with Rich Franklin, which would be a huge fight money and PPV-buy wise. I think Chuck would beat him down but it would be very entertaining to see these two in a stand-up war.

I'm a Kimbo fan but he's nowhere near Liddell's league. If EliteXC was smart, they would sign Tito and have Tito and Kimbo fight on a PPV. It would be huge and I'm sure these two could easily sell the fight.
