Tito vs Rashad 2 is not a done deal for ufc 77 according to ortiz. He has not agreed to nothing for that event , he still has to sign the papers

i dont think tito is going to take the rematch

knowing Tito he wont take the fight. he knows that the rematch is a risky fight and if he loses that is his last fight on his contract and if he does lose i dont think he will be resigning with the company. hell i'd find it hard to believe he will resign if he won. he could probabley make more money in EXC.

Knowing Tito, he will most likely try everything to weasel his way out of the rematch.

This is just one example of why I dislike Tito. He's talks so much shit and rarely stay true to his word. If he wins a fight he talks trash all day long, but if he loses he fronts like he has good sportsmanship, and has nothing but respect for everyone. So this wouldn't suprise me at all.

tito vs. shogun would be the absolute best match up the ufc could possibly make. Imagine if Shogun demolished tito? You want to hook a ton of fans in one fight? right there.

theres no way to know for sure if the fights just postponed or off all together, either way we can all be sure that tito will do his best to make this whole process as dramatic as possible.

ohh man shogun and tito would juss be amazing, i can see tito gettin KO out like rampage did when he fought shogun...........and that would give an excuse for the UFC to not resing him....Tito should go to TNA, or WWF or sumthing

The intro to this topic said :

"He has not agreed to nothing for that event , "

So, if he hasn't agreed to nothing, does that mean that he HAS agreed to something???

If Tito doesn't take this fight against Rashad he is officially removed from my favorite fighter selection. To me, he has a lot to prove with the fight. He needs to prove that he can win without cheating and he needs to prove that he can still come into a fight injury free. But most of all he needs to prove that he is better than Rashad.

I can understand why he would want to move on considering he himself said he considers it a win against Rashad. He has said in the past that he wants to fight both Shogun and Silva. I think he would beat both. But he needs to get past Evans first.

he may talk about fighting rua but i dont think he actually will take the fight. if im tito right now ive got to be protecting whats left of my career and remaining marketable and being smashed into oblivion by a guy that a lot of people in the US dont know doesnt accomplish either goal.

Only bad thing is, as far as styles go, Tito has the style to beat Shogun. Tito is much stronger than Shogun. He will be shooting takedowns all night and LnPing just like he did to Wandy. I like Shogun too much for me to want to see this fight first in his UFC career. I would like to see Shogun get someone like Stephan Bonnar. I wouldn't mind seeing Sobral-Ortiz with the winner still being relevant and the loser becoming a stepping stone or leaving for another org.

i think hendo beats rampage an then i would like to see them call off tha rematch an schedual tha rampage vs. tito fight in its place but thats an unlikely match but to me on paper is a good match up..
