Is Dana White pissed about not signing Fedor?

Dana White said he doesn't think Fedor is top five. His reason behind it was that his last two fights weren't against top fighters. Does anyone else think Dana is just pissed that he couldn't sign him? Honestly how could anyone think Fedor is not the top or one of the top fighters in the world?

i agree with dana completely !!

fedor is #5 for me and if he want to go up he will have to fight real top 5 fighters and win !!

P.S. real 2007 top 5 fighters , not top 5 of 2005 or 2004 !!!

dana knows he is damn well the best hw, he just does not want ufc fans (whom most do not know who fedor is) checking him out and then jumping on the fedor bandwagon..... dana is just having his period, thats all

i think you simply miss reading what was happening man !!

Dana was telling that fedor was a good fighter and the pride champ because he wanted to sign him !! you don't tell that a guy is " A FARCE " when you want him to face your champ and you want to see fedor being destroyed in from of everybody !! but now that the russian is going somewhere else to fight low levels competition, you can say what you really think about him !!


as for the canada event, well from january to march, it is not a big problem for me if i can go to montreal in march to see GSP fighting Hughes for the title !!
they want to have a big first event in canada and with GSP , it will be a sure big event !!

as for the others top talents, well, if the guy prefer to go somewhere elses to fight against easier opponent , well, it is not the fault of dana !!
if you look at witch good fighters are not in the ufc ( good 2007 fighter ) well, i am pretty happy about what they have and if Barnett or Gomi wants to fight somewhere elses well it is there choice man !!

You know he's pissed at him for not signing because he called him "overrated" and "not top 5 in the HW divsion"....Ridiculous comment. I still think Dana would be like "Yeah Fedor's P4P best in the world" on the UFC Super Bowl countdown show if he and Randy fought but yeah he's just saying all that because he's PISSED.

Dana being that he's a business man and head of a big company shoulden't go spouting about his dealings unless they really are done, his garentee's and promises should be taken as that considering his position, his "done deal" with HBO wen't well to.

Are you going to tell me? Every Football, Baseball, Basketball, Hockey (pick or trade) that has been made over the years, that they called a done deal, and eventually never happened, has surprised and aggravated you this very same way? Nothing is ever a sure thing. That's just how the Biz iz!

And neither did White. He said "We're going to get Fedor.". A bold statement. Clearly insinuating, that he would try his best to sign him.

I never thought Fedor was top ten material. My #10 on my rankings is Jake O'Brien, and I think O'Brien could be Fedor.. I'll probably end up wrong, but hell, doesn't mean I have to give into the Fedor craze and let him sneak onto my top ten.. I'm not that weak minded.

Yeah Dana is still bitter. He knows fine well Fedor is the best of the best, and he couldn't get him, now he is whining because the claim that the UFC has all the worlds "top fighters" doesnt ring true anymore.

Fedor is the #1 HW imo

danas got a case of the sour grapes right now, but he'll be the first one calling fedor and chumming up with him when m-1 fails to become even a mediocre player in mma

I do think Dana's pissed.....
He said he wanted to get Fedor for Randy.......well that may be one of the reasons but we all know that Fedor would have help sell a lot just in his debute. I think he's mad cuz he couldn't get the cash-cow Fedor. Regardless if he won or lost mma fans love him, like CroCop.
