Dana White: Nick Diaz Could Come Back...If He Keeps Fights In The Cage

Count Dana White among those interested in acquiring Nick Diaz in the post-EliteXC era, in this case bringing him back to UFC. On one major condition of course: Nick has to keep his temper outside the cage under control.

I dont see diaz getting signed anytime soon, maybe midway next year. Cus I am sure he is going to go fight on DREAM for a bit.

I don't think that Nick Diaz is a good fit in the UFC. He's too small for 170 fighters, and I don't think he could make 155 on a regular basis. And you can bet your a** that Dana isn't going to create a 160 division like Shaw did just for Diaz.

I see him going to Affliction...he's the type of fighter that they are looking for.

i really hope he comes back. that would be awesome. my only question is what weight would he fight at? when he was in the UFC previously he fought at 170 but it seemed like he got overpowered. do you guys think he could cut the extra 5 pounds to 155 instead of his regular 160?

If they do bring him back, they could go ahead and make out the FOTN bonus check to him ahead of time for every event hes in. He always has entertaining fights. Hopefully he could get a couple wins because Diaz vs. Penn would be one heck of a fight!!!

Niaz is not going to beat or to even challenge anybody in the UFC, his legacy is way over ! FOTN bonus !! lol come on, Diaz is the slowest fighter on the planet he would get destroyed by any top 15 in the UFC 155 or 170 name it !!

Diaz is one of my favorite fighters but I really don't think that he will end up with the UFC. It's like what Tuvok said in that he would be over powered by the bigger WWs in the division.

If DREAM would just pay him, he would stay fighting in Japan. I'd like to see him fight against the LWs over there and see how he fares. Maybe a rematch against Noons as well.

Tuvok, nate diaz is easily top 15 at 155 in the ufc. Nick is better in every aspect . The only problem would be him making 155 . How many light weights would be able put up close bouts with diego sanchez , karo parisyian , joe riggs etc ? How many light weights would be able to knock out lawler/drew fickett or win a decision against chris lytle? Very few if any . Your letting your hate cloud your judgement .

I'd love to see Nick back in the UFC. He's a fan favorite. I think it's unlikely though, because I think Nick enjoys having the option of fighting in Japan and fighting frequently. The UFC also doesn't really aggressively try and sign guys, instead they kind of take the "let them come to us" approach. I can't state it as a fact that they don't pursue guys aggressively, but from the outside looking in it appears that way.

I'd love to have Nick back.....WW, LW, whatever's cool for him. Sign him up!!!!
