The UFC will, in fact, host its first show in Canada in April.
UFC President Dana White made the announcement during Thursday’s UFC 79 press conference in Las Vegas, and the news was relayed in a Sportsnet.ca report that was posted today.

Speeking of French-Canadian fighters, does anyone know what happened to Loiseau? He just submitted Freddie EspiricuetaIs in UAFC, is still under contract with them or what?

I dunno, I thought they "tore-up" his contract and released him from the UFC... haven't heard much about him in a while.

Loiseau is fighting january 12th in the WCO - Babalu vs Tiger card in the secondary league.
as for the UFC event in canada in April, i will be there unless a catastrophique event !!

Yeah, that'll most likely be the main event. Plus we'll probably see fighters like MacDonald, Starnes, Cote, and some other Canadians.
