First of all, you are the biggest hypocrite in this forum. It's ok for you to be a diehard Fedor supporter and talk down every other fighter you've mentioned, but it's not ok for somebody to support Dana White. Why can't someone be a fan of a promoter? The reason people like Dana is because he's done a lot for mma. Nobodies perfect, but i'd say he's doing a pretty good job. We're not always gonna agree with his decisions, but that's life. I'm starting to believe there's no getting through to you, you're a diehard Fedor supporter. Take others points into consideration and try to disagree respectfully instead of acting like you're the all knowing mma God.

P.S. I just want to compliment you on your props to posts ratio.

Yeah the Dana Hating is a bit overrated...i like the guy..I mean so what he says something dumb or taken out of context and hes flamed.I mean you got about 90% of the worlds best fighters under one roof now with Zuffa owning Pride.Whats soo wrong with that..i mean hey if the UFC doesnt get fedor then oh well i guess the 10% which is Fedor we'll have to watch somewhere else..Until then thanks Dana for whats been an unpredictable and pretty action packed 07 and hopefully a kick ass future..with all the talent you have.But yeah i wanna see Fedor in the UFC...who doesnt? if it doesnt happen oh well im sure ill get over it.

Him being the president of the biggest company in mma doesn't give him the right to say what he say. Period.

Some of you guys get so crazy about Fedor. I can see it now Fedor can KO a bear, Tap out a Lion and then whip all the HW in the UFC all in a days work.

Yeah because he's good has something to do with us defending him when dana insults his culture...cool.

We all want to see Fedor come to the UFC. Why? Because it's THE elite MMA organization. If Fedor doesn't sign with the UFC it will look like he's trying to dodge real competition. He can sign with Bodog and spend the rest of his career beating second-rate fighters. Now I know that Fedor isn't scared of fighting anybody but he needs to realize that Dana will match any reasonable offer. Dana has managed to put together the best group of MMA fighters in one organization the world has ever seen. He has about 85% of the worlds best fighters. Obviously he's doing something right, so people need to stop hating on him.

P.S.: Fedor might sign with Bodog because they'll give him a non-exclusive fight contract so he can still take fights in other organizations, including, possibly, the UFC.

He just wants to fight in rings...big deal let him, and he wants to have UFC events in russia...why not? most of his demands aren't monetary.

A diehard Fedor supporter?? He wasn't being a diehard Fedor supporter, he was speaking out against disrespectful and ignorant comments once again spewed by Dana White. If his team's being difficult (which is debatable, as mentioned by the guy who actually knows what he's talking about, he wants to fight in rings and an event in Russia) then just say that, don't say "I'm dealing with crazy Russians." That's retarded and just continues to make Dana look classless. Fedor is the best in the world, that's obvious. Anybody who knows mma knows there's Fedor, and then there's the rest. His one loss in mma was due to a cut from an illegal blow?? What was the most trouble he was ever in while fighting in PRIDE?? Mark Hunt and Fujita?? He won both of those fights convincingly, not to mention dominating everybody he stepped in the ring with. The Fertittas bought PRIDE, not Dana White. He doesn't have that money. At first he wasn't going to be a part of the company, then all of a sudden he's talking shit at the PRIDE press conference. Then he says he's getting EVERY fighter, and has made a minimal impact to say the least. Filho, Kang, Misaki, Gomi, Melendez, Aoki, Hunt, Fedor, Barnett, Aleks etc. Not to mention Overeem, Soko, Arona and Lil Nog. Who supports a promoter?? With Zuffa's money he's made progress, but as far as his class goes in an interview and how he conducts himself he's brutal.

We all know Fedor is the best in the world right now. I don't think anybody has argued that point.

The thing is, these forums are for people to conversate about opinions. It's really bothersome when somebody comes in saying Dana White, or whoever is being bashed, is a disrespectful, retarded, asshole because I said so and that's it. "Oh, you make a great counterpoint but i'm not even going to take that into consideration because I just told you he's a disrespectful, retarded, asshole because I say so".

I realize this wasn't your brothers comments, but it's kinda what it sounded like he was trying to say. Or maybe i'm just taking his words out of context.

No but seriously, it's obvious that some people are just to quick to bash on Dana. It doesn't matter that it's the Fertittas that are dishing out the money because Dana's the one in the spotlight, or better yet under the microscope. Dana has openly said that he wants Fedor in the UFC. He wants him in the UFC just as much as the majority of mma fans do. So why would he blatently disrespect the man. He probably wouldn't. His words were taken out of context. People call other people crazy all the time and mean no disrespect by it and you should know that as well as I do.

A slang definition for crazy in the dictionary is nonconforming. This could mean independant. To break it down, someone may say, "I will not conform because i'm independant". I call my daughter a crazy little girl because I try to help her out and she wants to do things her own way, her grandmother calls her independant. Am I disrespecting my own 5 year old daughter? Weird example, but it proves a point.

That fight with Werdum was in 2003. GG couldn't have improved in 4 years? Hell, Cro Cop got KO'ed by Randleman, who Chuck destroyed in 30 some seconds. Does that mean Chuck can beat Cro Cop?

Every fighter gets caught. Ask Cro Cop. GG and Randleman have KO'ed him. Hell, ask Fedor, Fujita caught him and if Fujita had any idea how to finsih, Fedor loses. Ask GSP, Serra caught him. Look at Big Nog in his last fight. If Heath doesn't do whatever they hell he was doing, that fights over. When you choose to stand and bang ANYTHING can happen.

I really wish some one would shut Dana's mouth.Sometimes the guy is alright,but damn,it's like he's a spoiled rich kid that resorts to name calling and a lot of un-needed bitching when something doesn't go his way.

I agree w/Zephead. Anything can happen in a fight, especially when standing up. Everyone has a puncher's chance. I still only think there's a couple of people who could have a decent chance at taking Fedor (Cro Cop, if they ever fight again, Liddell, Shogun), but sometimes in a fight, you just never know. We've all seen fights take hugely unexpected turns. Some light-heavyweights could easily jump up in weight, or rather, not cut weight, and fight Fedor. Fedor isn't that heavy anyways. Although I give Fedor a major edge in any fight, anything can happen when you have a puncher's chance.

Liddell and shogun would have to KO him or cut him very quickly. If you stand with fedor you'll end up like zulu. Even one of the best strikers in mma had trouble with fedor's punching style.

You gotta remember Fedor is not the best p4p fighter in the world....
He is THE best fighter in the world.

Fedor vs. any striker is a hard sell for an upset. Considering CroCop wasn't able to withstand the standup from Fedor in the 2nd round of their fight, and CroCop was on his heels in the 1st round a few times from taking huge blows, I don't see a striker beating Fedor. Hunt was the closest, and Fedor managed to recover and pull out a great submission quickly.

I think if he'll get beat, it'll be a submission down the line, but I don't see anyone doing that for quite some time.

After reading the new article at Sherdog, I think Fedor's manager really is " a crazy russian" . Trying to force the UFC to co-promote through him in Russia, SIgn other red-devil fighgter's in a package deal? Nutty IMO. The only thing I think they should give in on is a once a year Sambo deal. Also, his manager admittted the UFC's offer was the most lucrative, so that falsehood is addressed. Fedor is the best fighter in the world IMO, but I think he's getting bad advice just like Vera was. Also, I think he should step into the negotiations or fir his manger just like Vera did.

Ageed. Fedor is too important to the UFC to let money get in the way of signing him. I'm glad that that fact has come to light. Let's see, hmmm, more money, better competition, better legacy (not that he needs much more for a great legacy). It's a no-brainer. I'm sure the UFC will eventually hold fights in Russia, but if Fedor can travel to Japan, he can travel to the states, or other places in Europe where the UFC is held.
