OMG! The last pick defintley! lol

but I still don't think nothings changed. I think Randy is just being stubborn. But hopefully he can fight Nog. I rather see him fight Nog then Fedor for some reason. And that's because I don't think Randy can beat Nog nevertheless Fedor. But that's just my opinion.

I hope randy will fight Nog, for the rest i will wait !!

at least, he is not black listed in the ufc because he was in the corner of Karo " i am sorry for my poor performance " Parisyan !!!

I think they were probably discussing how it would play out. Randy will most likely retire and then make up with the UFC so that he will still be able to do commentary for them. Obviously I hope that he fights Nog but I just don't see it happening. Randy has already established himself as a legend and I don't think he wants another broken arm ala Gonzaga or even worse, an injury that will affect the rest of his life. He really does not very much to gain from any fight except the fight with Fedor. Dana was probably trying to quash the beef because a lot of fighters in Randy's gym fight for them and the last thing they want to see is his fighters leaving the UFC. Randy will always be an integral part of the UFC and I think that Dana was trying to ensure that.

BTW Karo "I'm sorry for my performance" Parisyan is absolutely classic!!!
He should keep that nickname until he actually finishes a fight!

I wish I could say it was the first step to Randy's return, I really think Nogueira can cement his rep as the second best HW of all time by beating Randy. Unfortunately, Randy is denying him that chance, pretending like Fedor was the only fight worth his time. Such a frustrating time for Nogueira fans!

agreed i think NOg would be a good test and it would solitify either one in stone altho id say its already done. but this would prove a lot for either one i think NOg would be abbter matchup imo becouse h has a more rounded skill set.

If Randy did take this fight a beat Nog bad would you think twice about a Randy Fedor outcome?

Maybe. But I still wouldn't think too much about that Fedor fight. I just don't see it happening ever.

If Dana were smart, he would pay Randy more and we'll get a Randy-Big Nog fight on Super Bowl weekend. Whether Randy was right or wrong about his gripes with the UFC, Dana shouldn't make it personal. Just do what it takes to make the fight happen. Dana mixes business and friendship all the time, then takes it personal when fighters try to get more money.

Of course, fighters are going to try and get more money. There are a limited number of fights in a fighters career and they have to make the most of every outing.

Dana takes it as a personal insult whenever a fighter doesn't do exactly as he says. That's not the way a business relationship goes and that's not the way a friendship goes.

Dana needs to stop being pals with everyone on the UFC roster.

Well Nog didn't really give Fedor a ton of trouble. Fedor has said he'd come to the UFC and fight Randy, Dana said he doesn't want to cross promote any more since Pride screwed him.
