Paul Daley has revealed that he was officially cut by UFC today, just 4 days after his post-fight sucker punch of Josh Koscheck that led Dana White to vow he'd never fight in UFC again. But he's already moving on, having signed to fight on a PPV in Australia on July 3 and is also considering fights in Japan and in Canada for MFC. MFC operates on an Indian reservation and is thus exempt from a governing commission. Australia and Japan also both operate sans athletic commission. That means any suspensions he receives wouldn't keep him from fighting in those places.

Bellator for season three please! The WW tourney is always great and he'd definitely bring some fireworks to their cage.

I think he's too one dimensional to win Bellator. You don't have to be the best wrestler to beat him, you just have to have good TD

Doubtful. If he gets a lengthy suspension it's a definite no unless Bellator goes international.

And for those curious, he's likely not Strikeforce-bound. SF says they would honor any suspension.

Striekforce doesn't decide to honor suspensions, athletic commissions do.

Actually, it could go either way for both parties. AC's don't necessarily have to honor the suspension, but I'm some surely would. And Strikeforce is saying that they would honor the suspension, regardless of the opinion of the AC for their upcoming cards.

The first one made me smile, the second made me

I almost wish this happened more often so you could make more humerous gifs.

It'll be a while, since Daley's going to be stuck outside North America for a while after this upcoming suspension. Dana White basically said that even if Paul Daley won to a point he was a P4P elite, he would still refuse him a return.

“Where to start? K.J. Noons, Nick Diaz, Jay Hieron, Joe Riggs…”

It strikes me as odd he says K.J. Noons first. I would guess he's keen on fighting Diaz eventually, but a Noons fight is a good first step while he waits to be licensed in America again.
