In the UAE it is going to be compulsary for students aged 9 to 12 to partake in two 50 minute lessons of BJJ a week, they will also take theoritcal classes on BJJ.

This is part of a long term plan by the government to create future BJJ champs.

I think this is awesome and i wish they had any kind of BJJ or wrestling in primary school or even highschool, im in year 11 now and in Australia they dont have any thing.

I don't think it should be mandatory class but the option would have been so awesome when I wqas a kid!

Thats why we dont have any great fighters from here, We all have to seek and learn, But Wrestling (Greatest base for a MMA IMO) Is everywhere in the US...
