It only seems wierd because your not use to it. Ill try and explain it a bit better.
Firstly the reason why I did it is because in the last version of the game you could only win money if you won, it seemed a waste to have a fighter make the final and lose and get the same as a fighter who lost in the first round. Also, when we make our picks and its equal and I send you a PM asking if how your fighter wins a fight, if there is no bonuses then it is pointless.
So here is how the monies works on the Tournaments.
For rd2 the threshold is $2 mii
The seedings are decided on the rankings we use to decide the wages.
1. Each time your fighter fights you pay his wages.
2. Each time your fighter advances to the next stage (regardless of whether he fights or not) he earns you 10% of the threshold (200k)
3. If your fighter wins the bracket he wins the threshold (2mil)
Then there are bonuses as normal

4. For every vote you recieve you earn 10% - 200K
5. For every bonus you recieve you earn 100% - 2mil
Some votes are automatic, for eg, if there is only 1 KO, they get all the votes plus the bonus.
