UFC 6: Clash of the Titans

UFC 6 was the first UFC event not to include Royce Gracie, unfortunately we would not see another Gracie in the UFC for a long time. As Shamrock and Gracie drew and Gracie had left the UFC Shamrock was put into another super fight, this time against UFC 5 champion Dan Severn, we also had another 8 man tournament with some very recognisable names.

Interesting Taktarov won but you gave fighter of the night to Abbott. That was a nasty KO, I remember him taunting when he crumbled against the cage. I always liked Taktarov, shame he left the game to go do movies.

I chose Abbott because of the impression he made with his 2 wins, Taktarov lost points because of the match which was a work.

you gotta love tank abbot. pretty much just threw a shit load of heavy right hands, then topped it off with his seizure dance, haha
