CBS And EXC Announce Saturday Night Fights

CBS and EliteXC today announced their new partnership that will being EXC events to live TV on CBS. The first show is tentatively set for May 31, with Robbie Lawler expected to appear.

Wow. I hope they can keep it up running and get some good fighters in there.

I heard Kimbo will be fighting Warpath on this as well...

i wonder who Lawler will fight...Scott Smith maybe?

and I bet Gina and Ricco are on the card as well....both of them have thier recent "tv fame" so it would be smart to include them...with thier recent exposure to casual fans.

Lets hope for some good match ups so Elite XC doesn't ruin the momentum MMA has been building over the last couple of years.

i do agree, and this is one of my fears too. I hope for there TV Debut and Sat Night Fights, they do a good job in both setting up great matchups, having a good Show and hope the fighters show some class. if all fighters fight with heart, and desire too win, and fight with poise and class, then the MMA haters out there might change there minds. and I hope Lawler doesnt clap when he gets hit, just makes the sport look barbaric too some.
