The Ultimate Fighting Championship, which launched their own line of UFC gyms a couple of years back, announced today they have purchased the LA Boxing gym chain.

MMA is gnawing on the ankles if boxing. i know boxing is still much bigger and boxers are still making a shitload more than MMA fighters, but i think the growth of MMA is going to make things like this more frequent. boxing better watch it's back
Boxing needs a league like the UFC to run shit so they can clean it up
