so, i decided to incorporate boxing into my exercise routine. if anyone can give me any tips or send me some links on correct boxing technique, it would be greatly appreciated

keep your right hand right below on your chin and your left hand right below your left eye socket (for traditional right hand stance)

As a great trainer once told a young up and comer boxer.
"One Two, One Two Punch, Mac!"
"Put Him Away!"
"Dancin' like a fly, bite like a mosquito!"
"Dodge his punch, then counter punch!"
