10 Bold UFC predictions 2012

10 Bold UFC predictions for 2012 from a Bleacher Report article . Not too well written, but I hope the guy is right. What do you guys think?

Urijah Faber Will Lose Another Fight and Retire (no, he will be a great gatekeeper for a long time, kind of like Koscheck)

Dan Henderson Will Knockout Jon Jones in First Round (I wish, but probs not)

Chael Sonenn Will Win His Next Fight and Call out Anderson Silva...Again (not really a bold prediction, but oh well)

Anderson Silva Will Not Fight Again in 2012 (again, hardly a shocker)

Georges St-Pierre Will Finish Carlos Condit (HAHAHAHA that's comedy. GSP might win, but he won't finish)

Hector Lombard Will Lose Again ()

Forrest Griffin-Stephan Bonnar III Wll Happen; Then, Both Will Retire ()

All Strikeforce Talent Will Merge with UFC in October

Dan Henderson-Shogun Rua II Will Happen for Light Heavyweight Championship (I think JJ would get next rematch)

Ronda Rousey-Cris Cyborg Will Happen in UFC (please no! anywhere but UFC)

1. Bob Sapp won't lose his next fight.....till the 2nd round
2. Brandon Vera will beat Shogun.....probably not
3. Chuck Liddell will come outta retirement to fight.....Kimbo
4. Bas Rutten and Randy Couture go at it.....in a game of dodgeball
5. Alistair Overeem demolished his next opponent in December
6. Frankie Edgar will beat Bendo

I agree. As much as I want to see Hendo win, I just don't see it happening.

I don't think any of those things will happen other than Anderson not fighting again this year.

Maybe Lombard losing again, but I think the UFC will want to give him a free win.

Faber vs. Torres callin' it now. Oh and Faber smashes Torres to 125.

there is still some great fights for faber at BW. i hope he sticks around even if hes a gate keeper. mcdonald, torres, and cruz after he loses the belt to barao

The ones about Strikeforce merging with the UFC and Showtime allowing Rousey, maybe their MMA product's biggest headline grabber, to fight for the UFC are about as likely to happen as Bob Sapp continuing his retirement tour in the UFC. (Not to mention Cristiane Santos is not even permitted to fight until late December.)

But man, I hope the one about Henderson KO'ing Jones comes true.

Up until recently i would agree 100%, but.......

They've got a new section called 'Caged In' (LINK ) which is edited by Jonathon Snowden. He used to write for Bloody Elbow and he's the author of 'Total MMA' and 'The MMA Encyclopedia'. Also Jeremy Botter (UFC magazine) contributes.

I kinda like Bleacher Report for "easy reading" if you will. I don't take anything on there seriously, but I do enjoy reading most of the articles.

Would love to see Hendo K jones with a big nuclear overhand right, but I probably have a better chance of starting a fight with GSP and catching him with a flying upsidedown body scissors to heel hook.

GSP will rape Condit and send him back to the undercard

Matt Hughes will fight again

Tito Ortiz will fight again

Chuck Liddell will sleep with many beautiful women

I see what youre doing there

i love how half of the predictions are ammended by the writer saying "but probably not." way to hedge your bets. on that note dana white will make his pro debut as a lhw and get an immediate title shot (prbly not though)
