just some that i can think of right now...

Aoki's flying triangle on Clay French
Spider Silva making Lutter tap from elbow strikes while in triangle
GSP's verbal armbar on Hughes
Penn's bloody rear naked choke on Stevenson
Aurelio's arm triangle choke on Gomi

feel free to add Gif's and choices

Diaz's gogo on Gomi

... and lutter said he tapped from the choke and not the elbows. Nonetheless still a great submission.

Silva being sub'd by Chonan was by far the best sub ever . IMO

I have a gif of it, but I am haveing problems putting it on here. sorry. This is all I could put on here.

here is that chonan gif. it is my favorite submission besides sato's flying armbar

here is that famed armabar that makes moonwolf a deadly opponent:

I'm gonna say:

Frank Mir over Tank Abbott with a vicious toehold
Carlos Newton submitting Pat Militech(Sick Bulldog choke)
Anderson Silva over Travis Lutter(Elbows and Triangle)
Matt Hughes over Frank Trigg(UFC 45)-Standing Rear Naked Choke
Frank Mir over Pete Williams(Extremly painfully looking Shoulder lock)
Andrei Arlovski over Tim Sylvia(Ankle Lock)
Ricardo Almedia over Rob Yundt(Guillotine Choke)
Karo Parisyan vs Dave Strasser(Sick Kimura)

NOG: Over Coleman and Goodridge(Both by Triangle), Tim Sylvia(Guillotine)

i thought Babalu pulled off a pretty sick Anaconda Choke on David Heath...even though he held it too long. Still a pretty sick submission.

A good topic it is... Not to be a dick, but it gets done every couple of months or so... Still it's fun to reminice, or add new subs since the last thread...

Someone posted it, but the shoulder lock that Mir caught Pete Williams in was interesting...

Big Nog's armbar in the crocop fight was great...

I liked Nate Diazes 10-finger guilotine against Asuncao (sp?)

That reverse rear-naked thing that Torres finished the fight with against Beebe was pretty slick too...

Good post, how would you rate Lil Evil's 10-finger guillotine over Cub? I know a good sub when I see one, yet I am still learning all the fundamentals. I thought it was pretty good myself. I also thought Diaz's was great, yet I thought Pulver's was more impressive because it was so unexpected. It was a 10-finger guillotine right?

EDIT: jiujitsufreak74, I tried to give you props for your post, but I have to spread the love.

Martin Kampmann's arm triangle over Drew McFedries at UFC 68.

Any ten finger guillotine submission gets props from me.

Torres' reverse RNC was slick as all hell, but what was most slick about it was how he transitioned from shoulder lock to gogo to anaconda to reverse RNC.

Of course the infamous flying submissions were awesome.

Babalu's sick anaconda choke (One of my favorite chokes) on David Heath

Mir's toe hold was definitely awesome on Tank Abbott. Glad somebody mentioned that one.

Marcus Davis' arm bar he pulled out on Paul Taylor was amazing, too.

So many submissions, so little time....

Fedor's arm bar on mark coleman was pretty sick, he let the hammer take him down so he could pull that off.

Wasn't it Jason Gilliam? Yes, it was nice.

i though pulver's anaconda choke was executed very well. he hit it nice and quick and the roll was smooth. it really showed me his versatility and well-rounded MMA game he has developed.

here is a picture and gif after the roll was done (couldn't find one with the roll included)
